Rehabilitation and Improvement of Quay at Tanquisado

Seth took on the execution of the contract for the Rehabilitation and Reinforcement of the jetty at the Tanquisado/Eco-Oil Maritime Terminal, located in the Sado River bed, at Mitrena, Setúbal, for the amount of €4,551,432.55 (i.e. the stabilization of the Quay-bridge – €610,342.04, and the rehabilitation of the Quay-bridge – €3,941,090.51), with a deadline of 300 days.

This terminal is under concession to Tanquisado – Terminais Marítimos, SA and Eco Oil – Tratamento de Águas Contaminadas, SA, and is intended for handling bulk liquids (fuels), and has a ship cleaning and degassing station. It is equipped with:

  • A quay and berthing dolphins;
  • A west berth (Tanquisado) for tankers carrying fuel, allowing the berthing of ships up to 200 meters long and with a draught of up to 9.5 meters;
  • An east berth (Eco-Oil) for ships destined for the ship cleaning and degassing station, allows the berthing of VLCC ships with drafts up to 7.5 meters.
